Harmony of nature and modern architecture
Location: Russia, Moscow region.
Total area: 578 sq.m./6221.54 sq.ft.
Date: in the design process.
Team: David Merdenov, Anastasia Astakhova, Temir Tuaev, Maria Merdenova.

The concept is based on the philosophy of human interaction with nature and their harmonious coexistence. Architecture serves as an addition to the environment, dissolves into it and strives to become a part of it.

The dynamic configuration of the building seems to repeat the natural relief and adjusts to natural lines and differences. Despite the rather impressive area, the house does not look heavy at all. It mimics. The landscape is reflected in the glass facades, green spaces occupy the terraces, a piece of sky gets into the house through a round decorative hole on the roof.

Besides the glass, natural materials are used in the decoration, which enhance the effect of getting closer to nature — wood, large-format porcelain stoneware, Roman brick. And the large overhangs of the roofs are a reference to the prairie style.

Планировка

The layout of the house is traditional. The ground floor is occupied by a public space, as well as a garage, an office and a SPA area. The second floor is private, consisting of four sleeping blocks with dressing rooms and bathrooms. Panoramic glazing lets in a lot of daylight, making the interior light and free.

The project is a reconstruction of an unfinished building and implies a scenario of active use of space on the site. The outdoor terrace connects to the recreation area by the pool and the campfire. The exterior lighting unites the street area and the building, which creates a single natural and architectural composition.
